Usually by Thanksgiving, the trees in Pennsylvania are bare, and the fallen leaves have turned into shriveling piles of detritus that rustle and shift in the wind. But this year, there were a good number of maples and oaks still shedding richly-hued yellow leaves on the landscape. Below is a canoe poised along the canal in New Hope, PA.
